Bubbly1202 's Thoughts:

So, this year, my family opted for grey (well, more to silver actually). Mother chose a colour-gradient fabric where the colour started with a very light shade of grey (almost silver) to a darker shade of grey and finally black.

Had class and lab session on that day itself (bummer!) so wore this outfit to uni and my supervisors loved, loved, loved this outfit..there’s a bit of embroidery here, there and everywhere..and I wore a velvet-ish scarf that day (which I bargained for at the Queen Victoria’s market-from $10 per piece to about $6 per piece!) and tied it around ‘Maria Elena’ styleeee (go google her for more information on how she ties her scarf-very simple and easy!).

As promised with friends, we had a photoshoot and all the photos I posted here are taken by my good friend/junior Farouq..I love, love, love his camera! :)

The first day of Eid here in Melbourne wasn’t as pathetic as I thought it’d be-went to at least 3 different open houses and ate to heart’s content (uh-oh).

Looking forward to the next Eid and God willing, I’ll be in Malaysia with the family to celebrate it next year. :)
